first off i have a very crazy set up here. i have a 87 crx hf. that is a carbureted 1.5 .that i have put a 88 1.6 head on and modified it to still be carb. i have a 97 civic vtec distributor with a msd cap and coil. i can not get it to spark. i dont know if i am hooking it up wrong or what. if any one can help me figure out how to wire it i will be so happy. please help

 

check your cap and rotor.do you have a check engine light on

 

you need a distributor from a pre obd car. the obd-1 and 2 sensors in the dizzy usually won't work on older ECU's. if it does though, check the ignitor and the coil. my coil was bad, swapped out and cranked
