I run the kumhos right now and havent been that impressed. THe wear is awesome but I need a stickier tire with all the traction issues I have. Dont say slicks cause I am getting a set of those..
Nobody ever praises the Kumho MX, so I will. It's a good compromise between the 712 and the Azenis. A lot stickier than the 712 with better wet weather capability than the Azenis as well as better life. Not quite as good in dry weather as the Azenis, but not that far away. Cheap, too!
I've run kumho's, falkens, parada's, yoko ES100's(sumpin like that), and the falken azenas(sp?).
Personally... for grip and wear the yoko's take the cake, but for pure grippyness get the azenas.
IF I WERE YOU I WOULD GET....advan Neova's AD-07

I like my Bridgestone Potenza S03s. They have great dry traction and amazing wet traction.
I live in the northeast and for the summer I am going to get some new rubber on Rotas. Then in the winter go back to the stock fat fives. For a seasonal tire what would you guys suggest? Remember I am in the northeast so I need some good tires for the rain and obviously the more wear the better.
The Falkens dont last too long, especially if you push them.
Ive had ~25k on my 712's now and theyre still kickin. The Falkens are a good tire, but if its a daily driver that accumulates a decent amt of miles and treadwear is a concern, skip them. And you dont have to spend a lot to get a decent tire. All of the above are plenty competent.
If you dont mind going with a 195/50/15, you can get S-03's for $79 a pop at Tirerack.
