Default ECU code 6?

Coolant temperature sensor circuit problem...

I just got the error code and looked it up in the chilton's manual... as part of the troubleshooting guide it said to reset ecu and check it again... i did and it's still on...

so step two is to check the impedance on the sensor itself... i've got a mulitmeter, but i couldn't find anywhere in the manual on where the sensor actually is located...

so please, can anyone tell me where the cooland temperature sensor is? (TW sensor)

it would be very much appreciated, thanx...

In my helms all I can see in the diagrams is a temp gauge sender unit, and a thermosensor, both are located right under your cam gear. Thats all I could find, hope that helps.
