Damn archive search is disable. I'm only having problems with the rear shocks. I have instructions for the install. It says to put the rubber sleeve on the rear shocks then put the coilover over the sleeve. Problem is that the coilover won't fit over the sleeve. I tried splitting the sleeve into 2 small pieces and will only get coilover to go down half way. Any body with any info or help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

hmm are you talkin bout the dust cover, you dont need those... and remember to use only half of the bumpstops cut half and use only half.

 

No, it's just that I can't get the coilover to fit over the rubbler sleeve (that came with the kit by GC).

 

used the rings that came with the gc.. the rubber band like thing... I had this problem too.. I used eg shocks in my ef with DA GC spring rates.. I went to osh (hardware store) to get some rubber material that was thinner and did not tear, then taped it to the shock body... slid the coil over over, and there you go!

 

just use the o-rings (the thicker ones) that came with the kit and you should be fine

 

Do you mean I should just use acouple of those o-rings on the strut and slide the coilover over it? Thanks for the info so far.
