how much for a little turbo?
how much for a little turbo and everything, and how much will pro's put it in for? i have a crx w/b18a and i want to run like 6 psi, but i dont know what i need and how much?
i just got a killer deal on a setup for my crx..im runing a b16 in it, and i found a garret 16g turbo, manifold, downpipe, turbo timer, and external wastegate for 400 bucks..its all brand new..now i figure ill need another 1200 bucks for intercooler, tubing, BOV, hoses, clamps etc, a new manifold so my turbo will fit with my stock radiator, boost guage, and misc parts..im also going to need to get a street/race clutch so my stock one wont burn up with turbo..i have all stock internals and plan on running 6-8 psi..i figure ill have about 16-1700 in my setup..i hope
things i have:
-14b turbo
-manifold (std + adapter plate)
-msd btm
-dsm bov
things i need:
-flanges + piping
-intercooler
-smc500
-450cc dsm injectors
-fuel pump
things i have cost $240
things i need cost ~ $600

my setup:
hf manifold--free
14b turbo w/o2 housing--$80
1st gen DSM BOV--$30
Vortech 12:1 FMU--$100
charge pipes--$60
conquest FMIC--$130
Manual boost controller--$15
downpipe--$free
theres little **** here and there u gotta add, but just piece it together man, make sure you thouroghly check prices, you shouldnt pay too much for parts, theres people everywhere looking to get rid of stuff the think is junk but to you its treasure, so you get it real cheap, like i met the guy i got my turbo and BOV from, i talked to him for awhile, he said i was cool so he hooked it up, that's what you gotta do, also go to u pull its, you be surprised what you can get for dirt cheap. GOOD LUCK

...all the Eagle Talon/Chrysler Laser/Mitsubishi Eclipse cars produced in the joint venture. You can find the stock parts for the turbo models pretty cheap since most of those guys upgraded and have them lying around.
