It usually starts getting obnoxiously loud, causes you car to hesitate/sputter, or your car will just die completely.

so it will come and go (the symptoms) and then it will eventually not work? That is what my car is doing but I thought it was wierd that it works sometimes and then my car will sputter, sometimes backfire, and then die other times. do you think that I could use a stock fuel pump instead of my walboro if I have hondata and 450 injectors (I am running 7 pounds of boost)?

usually hard starting is a symptom too. the pump can't prime the rail with enough pressure to get decent atomisation so it takes some cranking to start.
a stock fuel pump should be fine with 7psi of boost.
