Weird rattling noise from slave cylinder GSR please help!!!!!!!!!!!
ok the thing is i got a new slave cylinder installed like 6 months ago from acura and for some reason now its makin a weird rattling noise and whenever i touch the rubber boot on it, it stop makein the noise. Why is it doin this and what can i do to stop it. please help me out thanks

ok i called diff dealers and they said that it might be the throw out bearing

If you just 'touch' the boot, then it doesn't make any sense at all.
If you push on the throw-out fork, which is under that boot, then you're changing the load on the throw-out bearing. If this changes the noise, then it makes sense for it to be the T-O bearing. Sometimes they get loose & rattle, but resting your foot lightly on the clutch pedal puts just enough load on it to quiet down. Other times they're noisy with load, quiet when unloaded.
If they say its NOT warranty, try greasing the slave piston rod inside the small rubber bellows. Also lubricate the ball/socket at the end of the rod, where it pushes against the T-O fork. Maybe that'll work, maybe not...
