would safe mode be causing this?? I dont have a downpipe in yet..so no 02 sensors.. and idont have my air temp sensor..... i cant figure out where to start .........everything runs smooth except this

ANY help?!??

It looks like a limp mode problem but the rev cut isn't in the right... Typically if you have any of the the distributor sensors (TDC, CKP, CYP) or the ECU's ROM not properly installed your cut will be ~3200rpm... You will also have a permanetly on CEL... Right now i'm NOT thinking that this is a limp mode problem (but i'm NOT 100% sure either so don't go just by me)... Your CEL is on because of not running an oxygen sensor or IAT so those are the first things to get fixed... If you are still waiting on those the See what codes your ECU is throwing... I would expect atleast a 41 (PHO2S) and a 10 (IAT)... anything other codes that come up shouldn't be there and your problem may lie there... You're just running an OBDa P75 computer correct... Sorry I wasn't much of a help but let me know if anything else comes up... Peace

 

My VAFC didn't come with the addition to the install instructions? but the cut out for that was 5000rpm. Check out the apexi website for some help maybe?

 

I've got a Code 4 (crank angle position sensor) problem, a Code 9 (IYP sensor problem), and a Code 15 (ignition control system problem).

I've got a similair problem to what u discussed.. i'm rev limited pretty early in my RPM band now. I drive a 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatch (so I don't have a tach).. but I can't go past 20 mpg in 1st and 40 mph in 2nd .. this new rpm limit is really weird.


could you please help me with this problem? I'm unsure about what could be going worng...

 

what injectors are you using? are you using any honda resistor box for your injectors?
