Default wheel size poll

ok, my friend has a 5th gen lude and is getting wheels/tires for it, he has about 2200-2500 to spend, he wants to get 18's, i think he should get 17's.. what do you guys think, i think the tires would be a lot better for 17's.

Tell your friend that 18's will look too big on the car, IMO.

I'd go with 18s.. 17s look kinda small on a lude.. 18s are like the perfect fit i think.. then you gotta drop it cause 18s with out a drop.. eeeewwwww.. i really don't like 17s on my car.. it's too small.. BTW.. lol that lude is kinda ricy.. it will look alot nicer without the body decal and altezzas.. but that's just my opinion.. JDM JDM JDM..

your post grosses me out, 18's might be better for a show car but who drives show cars??? that pic is more than "kinda ricey", it would need a lot more than changing the altezzas and decals to make it look halfway decent... and "JDM JDM JDM" is just gonna be another ricey trend if you keep chanting that

Totally agreed...yuck...Here's the best advise you'll ever get...18's are way to big. Not to mention expensive...17's are ok for daily driving...still expensive...How about save that 2200 but a set of light rims for race. Put the rest into other parts of the car Unless you like the whole show thing....

I wish I got 16's for race use but 17s work fine for street and if you have a 1.5 drop.

How slow does your friend want to go? 18"s and up starts to put on more weight to an already heavy car. Go with it 18" if your friend is just getting them for looks.

I don't know. I've had 17 and now have RH CP8's in 18 and I think IMO 18 look better. Granted 17 are more practical

The only reason I went w/16's (besides weight.) is Azenis come in the perfect size..but only in 16" wheels.

215/45/16.

in 17 they jump up to a 225/50, i think.. to tall, and to wide of a tire for a lude.

I ride 17's during the week.. 16's @autox..

definity go with 17s for all around use...they look the best and dont murder performance...but 18's can look nice. also remeber that rubber costs wayyy more the higher you go
