Been there, done that.

One of my OEM NSX wheels (they're forged) was bent and I got it repaired. The wheel repair place (this was Transwheel but there are other good wheel shops like Wheels America, etc) said to fix it they "heat it and beat it".

It was bent on the inner lip, bad enough that the tire was leaking. It turned out fine. They normally refinish the whole wheel but I told them not to bother, I just wanted it straightened, so I saved a few bucks. Good job.

Usually they refinish as well as straightening and repairing. Typical costs are $150-200, although I think Wheels America has a flat rate of $109.

And to answer the question, eventhough it has been, yes they can be repaired.

 

It depends on where you're located. You can bring it in if you're close to a wheel repair shop. Transwheel had a location near me so I did that. Wheels America has 6-8 locations. Otherwise, if there's no wheel repair shop near Heaven Scent, then yes, you would have to send it to them.
