Side Airbag light comes on and does not throw a Diagnostic trouble code

I have a 2000 Accord V6 coupe and the side airbag light randomly illuminates. I have taken it ot the dealer to have it scanned for trouble codes and I have use a Snap-on scanner as well and can not find a code. The dealer does not have any TSB's on this and they can only suggest that it may be caused by an external electronic device, ie a cell phone or haviong something sitting on jy seat like a pocket book. (I guess being 6-8 and 275lbs makes me look like I carry a pocket book

)

I've seen a couple bad OPDS sensors cause that.

I have a 2000 Accord coupe as well. I asked some guy from a local HOnda dealer i know and he said that if you lean against the door it can cuz that light to go on.

My friend has a 2000 and her accord does the same thing, usually it's as she is pulling in her driveway her kids are allowed to take off their seatblets in the back seat and when they hold onto the front seats to stand up they make the light go on. It's pretty sensitive.
