i have a b18a in a crx and i was wanting to know what everyone liked and how much it helped them(no vtec head dont have the $), thanks

 

I had a b18a but went the vtec route. I looked into mods for the b18a though before I went vtec and the best I found is the basic I/H/E plus an after market set of cams and upgrade the valve train and build a homemade turbo kit. All of this would have you killing alot of **** on the street. It is still going to be costly though. Just do a bit at a time start with the head and then go for the turbo. I know that for the price of my vtec swap I could have turbo'ed the ls and been alot faster than I am now. Now reliability on the other hand is another thing. Read up on the turbo before you do it ther is alot of people that blow their **** up because they dont know what they are doing. Just my two cents though. Good luck on the project.
