Default is my auto tranny going?

i have a 97 auto LS with a lil more then 100,000 miles. when im drivin, it seems like it shifts up and down constantly. im going the same speed and not pushin or letting go of the gas pedal. i dont notice it that much and never really did, but when other people are in the car they seem to notice. i asked someone else who has an auto ls teg with a lot less of miles and they said their car does it to and thought it was natural. is it? or is my tranny goin?

Our autos suck for shifting like that, they never know what gear they want to be in. You can tell when an auto is going when it starts slipping tho, and thats a much more obvious thing..... like it revs up alot before getting into gear, thats slippage.

it doesnt rev high or anything. it just seems to shift between 3rd and 4th alot(usually on the highway). its kinda like it doesnt know which gear to be in.

i know g2's dont do that. try doing a full tranny flush (not just a change). you can try doing it yourself here http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthrea...threadid=39620
