I have a 98 Civic. You know, with the front end thats not as fancy as the 99-00 ones. Anyway I want black-housing headlights but I HATE the part of the headlight where the turn signal is.

see that part on the right. Where its all ^^^^^^ kinda thing going on. Does anyone sell a 96-98 style black housing headlight without that crap?

lolol well if there is nothing else available those will do fine. They do look nice but without that stuff i think it looks better.

the only way your gonna get rid of that is if you get 99-00 front end.

btw, they look fine to me.

 

I painted my headlamp housings flat black on my 97. They look great even with those line things in the turn signal area. Speaking of the turn signal area, make sure you completely tape it off.

 

I am feelin you bro , i hate that turn signal part too , and prefer the 99 and up headlights for the civics

 

do them ur self, it's pretty easy and i wouldn't go with black housing, i'd go with a gun metal...

yah, i don't dig black housing...
if you got the $$, go for jdm ctr's. if not, go for gunmetal. i had gunmetal headlights (knock off ctr's) for a while before i got my ctr headlights.
