Default type r clutch flywheel in b18b1 tranny?

Is this combination possible? I came across a type clutch/flywheel for cheap and want to make sure it will work first.

Yes, those parts would be interchangable w/ your tranny.

Dumb question but I'll ask. What would be the advantage?

Lighter Flywheel 15lbs vs 18lbs and more aggresive PP I think...

yup yup. Plus I would be replacing the existing parts with parts that have apx. 70k less miles on them.

would it be better to use the type r stuff over say... clutchmasters HD stage 1 on a stock LS motor? I am in the market and was considering type-r clutch pp and flywheel.. if that is not worth it, then clutchmasters stage 1 with clutchmasters flywheel.

i dunno about the clutchmasters flywheel, but the stage 1 clutch of there's...damn it grabs. i would get that clutch over the type R any day for that LS.

Just personally, I'd go lighter than the ITR 15 pound wheel. I have the 12.5 xAct flywheel and absolutly love it. The only thing I don't like is not going lighter and getting the 8.8 xAct flywheel.
