Trans & Brake Fluid volume
Sorry to post this here, but it's the only true board on HT. The others would tell me about the new lightup tail pipe and glow in the dark brake fluid.
For a '98 GSR, anyone know off the top of their head how much fluid I need to flush the brake system and change the manual transmission fluid? Don't keep the Helms manual here at work, and really should order fluids TODAY!

I *think* it's 4 qts of fluid for the tranny.
You fill it until the fluid reaches the fill hole.

On my B16 transmission, I have twice used just over 2 quarts to fill it, so I normally buy 3.
Brake flush can be iffy, depending on how much trouble you have getting all the air out of the system. Sometimes the bubbles get trapped in the caliper. I've used almost 2 liters once on an especially troublesome brake bleed. The stuff is cheap, so may as well buy extra.
