Default Will this setup work? What else will I need? Help!

Sorry in advance for the n00b question...

I have a JDM b18c. I would like to run USDM b16a overbore pistons, and a Mugen head gasket. According the the compression ratio calculator at c-speedracing.com my compression would be at about 11.68663275993971:1. I also have a chipped ECU. I have heard I should go down to a colder spark plug. yay, nay? Will I need to invest in an FPR? This car is not a daily driver, but it defineately does get driven a lot, and reliability is a big factor.

Also, I currently have 00 spec ITR cams. If I get ITR outter valve springs, how high would you say I could safely raise the redline, and at what point would the cams stop making power?

I am trying to avoid dynoing my car at this stage, as I will be quite broke, and I don't consider this to be the finished product.

you might want to run a colder plug, but I strongly suggest that you retard timing a couple degrees and that you always run 93(or highest) octane gas. BTW, are you sure your valves wont hit the piston when VTEC engages? BTW, you know with the mugen head gasket(single layer I assume?) that you will need cam gears to correct timing right? Redline is going to depend mainly on your valve springs.

No I did not know that... And isn't the Mugen a 2 layer?

Redline is going to depend mainly on your valve springs.
Which I said I would have ITR...

I will get it dynoed eventually, but I don't have the money to drop right now, and this is not my final setup. I need something to drive at the moment.

I doubt you'll need a colder plug. I'd also advise going against an off the shelf ECU. Do a hondata, in the long run, it'll be more woth it. Do you have the kenji chipped ECU?

Hondata is on the way, as soon as I can afford it. I got the ECU chipped before I was planning on doing all of this stuff. I do not have a Kenji chip, but I would like to get my hands on one. Currently I have a custom J's racing, and a Mugen chip.

If you have a 2 layer head gasket it timing shouldnt be a big deal, but yes since shaving the head(or using a thinner head gasket) changes the length bewteen the cam gear and the crank pulley it changes your cam timing by a few degrees, but honestly with a 2 layer gasket it probably wont change it enough to worry about, but if your going all motor you're probably going to want to "tune" your timing as well.
