Someone told me that they thought they were same as a d16a6 -75x90
But have a higher compression ratio than the A6's 9.0-1?

everything you were told is true.

 

p29: (88-89 d16a1)
piston to deck clearance = 0.040"
dish/dome volume = 7.2cc
pm6: (88-91 d16a6)
piston to deck clearance = 0.020"
dish/dome volume = -3.4cc

 

Do you know what compression piston comes in these?
I have put 2 sets of 9.5-1 ZC pistons in the D16a6, and wow what a difference, Curious if I should look for the teg.
I Take it the d16a6 Teg has the same 9.0-1 pistons?

I thought the 88-89 teg came with the D16A8/9 ; The DOHC non-Vtec usdm motor?

 

the 88-89 teg is a d16a1.

the zc pistons are the same as the 88-89 USDM teg pistons.

 

Dose anyone know if the teg pistons are 9.5-1 or 9.0-1?

 

the 88-89 integra is 9.5:1 compression. when you put those pistons in a different block with a different head, the compression ratio will change.
