i know this has been asked 101 times, but I can search and find it...

92-96 Prelude wheels weigh 17 lbs for both the SI and the VTEC (swirlies)?? According to http://www.wheelweights.net they weigh the same - I heard that the swirlies weigh less...

Anyone know for sure?

92-93 wheels are pigs and weigh 22lbs a pop.
93-96 "swirlies" are a bit lighter @ 17lbs a wheel.

i believe this is pretty accurate, someone correct me if i'm wrong.

how about the wieght of the prelude SE wheels ? you know the directional 5 star ones ?

well, i guess i would sale them for say $800

i ditched the aged worn out vtec rims and got the SE's brand new

then got some 17s

then ditched the 17s and went back to the SE's (not one scratch or chip) !!

now i am happy

look at my sig ... the 17s are still for sale

 

oh yeah ... that is a good informative link by the way thanks... sheesh i never knew my vtec rims wieght'ed so much ... am glad to get rid of them
