well i've just got done with my 95 eg hb si, 96 gsr motor and a sh$% load of check engine lights.... knock sensor was a issue until i got a kenji chipped p28... well i've just got home from a long day with no check engine light with some thxs from the chipped ecu but 10 mins before getting home my engine starts heating like a ***** with white smoke blowing out of my exhaust tip... so im guessing its the head gasket cause the smoke aint leaving and the heater no longer blow heat just cold air.....(i tried using the heater but the heater is now my ac)
What should i do? is it hard to fix her?

its easy. if you heve all the torque specs. youll have to most likely change the intake and exhaust mani gaskets you could probably get the whole head gaskett kit for 100$$ also make sure that the head is strait abd not warped. but it is pretty easy shouldn't take more than a 12 pack
Don't just replace the head gasket without indentifying what went wrong. If its a bad thermostat it will over heat again and you'll do it all over again until you find out why.
I agree with all of the above, except the 12 pack statement. Don't pay for work, with beer until the actual work is COMPLETE. your mechanic might get a little light headed, and forget something major, like a HEAD BOLT!
I have seen ASE certs get about 4 beers in, and forget that ring landings are crucial to the oil to combustion seal in a short block. I have also seen the same person(s) try to look at the index markings on the front of the cam gear and line it up ONE TOOTH OFF INDEX. I have had to step in, and make the final corrections myself.
Be careful, but it aint a real pain. Just make sure that the old Head gasket is OFF the block, AND the head. PEEL IT OFF. Use a nice 100 Grit sandpaper on a wooden block to help clean it, and finish with about a 120, or 160 grit, and reseal. Remember to tighten according to Honda's tightening sequence. They develop these for a reason. PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS BRO!

-headgasket is an easy fix, and you do NOT need to replace the intake mani gasket since you can keep the intake mani on the head when doing the headgasket work.
-the PITA is removing things to get access to the headgasket.
-but I swapped my 93 cx headgasket out in 3.5 hours by myself.
-you definitely want to make sure it is the headgasket, you definitely want to use OEM honda parts too! Make sure you have a torque wrench that goes up to 60 ft lbs, since th etorque specs for the headbolts are like 50 or something up there.
good luck bro
