What are the specs on your turbo? looks like power peaked early.

I agree, that power band is really sketchy. Do you have the a/f plot as well?

Hey derron, youve been a real post ***** ever since youve made it to the dyno! hahaha

vtec is at 5200, the turbo is a t3/t4e 60 trim .63a/r, other mods are ur pulleys, fidenza flywheel, act clutch, 3" exhaust, no cat, nx ntercooler. the spray turned from liquid to gas (only had 700 psi to start) pretty early durring the run not sure what the rpm was when it changed though. and my boost is screwed up and im not sure how to fix it.... it starts at 11 and then tapers down to 9 on the top end. oh im using a turboXs boost controler. any ideas on why the boost would be dropping?

I don't think it looks that messed up... it just looks like he's using a smaller turbo...

what turbo is it anyway?

Well now it makes sense. He is not getting the full 11psi throughout the RPM band.
I would check for leaks and see what is up from there. Then you graph should look something more like wht DLB posted..

could the boost drop be due to over lap letting boost go straight through the cylinders?

I agree with you guys.. I think he could be making even more power with some tuning. That just does not look like a heathy power curve. You should figure out what's going on. Did you read the A/F druing the runs? That think you will be making mad power when you get it tuned in right.

my friend had a stupid turboXS MBC, one of the stupid bleeder ones, and it was nothing but boost problems. He has a 90 talon tsi, and went from boost creep to bleed every other day. that thing was possessed by satan. We replaced it w/ a $20 dual spring MBC from ebay and his boost sticks!

you spent the money for a nice turbo setup, don't screw everything up with a cheap boost controller, go out and get yourself a nice electronic one like the APexi AVC-R or the Greddy Profec series..... I gaurntee your boost problems will be over, as long as you have everything hooked up right

TurboXS MBC's are the best there is, that's not the problem......
What kind of manifold and wastegate are you running?
I'd say you need to play with timing and possibly tune the A/F a little more, as well as dropping VTEC to 4500.......

was that run wiht the NX on? If so that would explain it all. Without the extra cooling your power would dip off. And the reason you're going from 11 to 9 in the top end would be becasue of the overlap... get the VTEC killer cams or ones that remove the overlap from the VTEC and it should be a ton better
