will not rev past 3 grand b16 swap
i just finished putting a first gen b16 into my 89 crx dx... did all the mpfi stuff.. now she will not rev past 3k... it back fires really loud too at 3 grand... anyone got any ideas...

had the same prob in mine... the ignition was cutting out, turns out Hmotorsonline sent the motor on the ecu messing it up...
just do a quick check by puttin the dx ecu in and see if it revs past 3k.. just a thought

I had the same problem and all I did was pull the battery to recharge it and when I put it back in the ECU had reset and it was fine. Of course, it could have been the battery causing the problem. ehh, give it a try.

is the battery on backwords, also make sure that the ECU is not messed up, find out by trying out b16a ecu from someone else. also make sure all the sensors are connected....
