J's Racing engine damper
There are a few really good threads about this in the archived topics.
Hopefully when the archived topics are available again, you can check those threads out.
I don't have any info, I just know there IS some really good info on whether or not it will work (and an alternative I think?) in the way-back threads.

I think stiffer motor mounts will accomplish the same goal at a fraction of the cost of the J's gadget.
from what my fragmented memory tells me, you can mod/chop the brace so it clears the MC.
Js damper is good for people who dun want the added vibe from the inserts.....(WUSSIES)

ES gets a thumbs up from me for their motor mount inserts and their shifter bushings

Has anyone here try J's Racing engine damper?
How was it? Is engine damper a worthwhile mod.? Thanks in advance!

are you just trying to learn more about it?
do you actually want to be faster around the track?
what other mods do you have on your car?
do you have stiffer engine mounts or inserts?
what are you trying to accomplish with this?

Haha, I think everyone here want to be faster around the track. But what I want to accomplish here is to try to reduce engine travel and hopefully have more traction. I am basically stock (well I have AEM CAI, but that's not really a mod), but I have my fidenza flywheel and JDM FD ready to go into my car. And no, I don't have stiffer engine mounts or inserts. Will they do a better job than engine damper? Thanks to all the replys!
I am wondering the samething too. Will the J damper reduce wheel hop similar to stiffer engine mounts but without side effect of shaking and vibration at idle?
I'm pretty sure "stevel" on the dfh board has this mod on his EK. I can't remember if it's a J's piece or not. It's trick, though (I've drooled over it in person). He says it makes the car feel more 'solid' at launch. Ask him, though.
Well, there are advantages and disadvantages to running stiffer mounts as opposed to the engine torque dampener. IMO, it's easier to install an engine torque dampener than inserts or whole new mounts.
As far as an s2000 standpoint, shifting is easier, no more engine vibration at idle.
but like Tweakmeister said, it's
and for the bling bling, what do I know.
