You'd be hard pressed to find one under 30K around here. It's real hard to find a base model, and they add alot of suff right when they get them on the lot.

 

Haha, good story. It's amazing how many people still don't know about the S2k... almost everywhere I go in my town, whenever people see an S2k parked, it's an instant attraction. Such a beautiful car.

LOL he said the 350Z was faster than an s2000... not on it's best day at the track. Saw 3 at E-town run low 15's....

 

That's because no one knows how to drive...

 

I usally get thumbs up at stop lights

 

i personally dont like the Z's back end. its kinda ugly to me. i love the s2k

 

i think the Z with teh G35 coupe rear would look a lot better

 

can i ask why soo many honda owners hate on 350's soo much. u go to a 350 site and no one there talks sht on s2's. dont understand why there soo many haters here.

 

I don't think the majority of us hate them, I think you managed to catch a select crowd of haters on this thread. Anyone with true automotive knowledge would at least appreciate the 350z, but unfortunately not everyone on this board is that way anymore. A lot has changed on this board within the last year

 

i didnt post this to show that i hate the 350z, the 350z was actually my first choice. It was more a story to show how much the sales man was dumb.

 

FOR YOUR INFORMATION, read his post (in the link he provided), he mentioned that $50k was in CAN $$$

350Z Track Edition OWNS Honda S2000 .

 

Speaking of S2000's , we had a run 3 1/2 weeks ago involving a 2002 Honda S2000 . The car was completely destroyed , and the driver was ejected from it , into muddy grass ( which saved his drunk-*** ) . I think a co-worker has the pics saved . The patient ended up with : 3 broken rims , Left ankle broken , 2 broken fingers on the Right hand , multiple soft-tissue injuries covering the face , down to the feet . All in all he'll heal after about a year or two . It hurt to see that car destroyed .

 

hahah that client got owned...too bad the salesman was such a *****. A convertable civic? I'll break his knees...

damn funny story. 350's got a nice exhaust sound to me though (stock), but hell i'd get the S2k instead as well...

 

no offense to the S2k owners I almost bought one but built up my all motor integra instead, but the 350z with the a good driver will hands down walk on a s2k. Ive driven both, off the line the Z pulls hard, from a roll same thing. The S2k feels sluggish off the line and pulls hard on top, but the Z pulls hard from all over.

 

The s2k has to be driven much differently. You can't let it drop below 6500 rpm or it will pull weak. It's much more difficult to drive, but on a road course, shouldn't have to much trouble toppling the 350z. If you're talking drag racing, let me go borrow my friends $6000 68 Nova.

As for the price of the 2, you can get a used s2k for 22k if you look hard enough and don't mind some rice mods or dents. New for $32k. The Nissan Dealer wanted $36k for the cheapest 350z they'd sell me.

I don't wanna look like I'm slamming the 350z, because I do like it. I just like the s2k a bit more.

nice choice of a car, although somewhat underpowered, that can be fixed with boltons/tuning/weight reduction.

any car can be made to go fast in 1/4 mile.. owner just gotta work on the car, make it faster or whatever you want to do with it..

this is true, no offense taken...but the s2k was obviously the better all-around car..that is why i chose it.
