Has anyone transplanted a prelude power into a del sol? Does Hasport make mounts to make the swap work? How tight is the fit far as steering and a\c is concerned? I need help I want to run 12s to beat my roommates DSM!!

 

H22 swap into a Del Sol is the exact same procedure & parts used as for any H22 swap into a 92-95 Civic or 94+ Integra (all the same chassis dimensions). Check the Hybrid forums lots of info there.

 

Youll need a little juice to run 12s in the h22a sol, but its defintly going to be a beast.

 

Its been done b4 by a many people on this board. But hasport does make the mounts and so ive heard u can still fit a/c and power steering with some custum brakets. Ive thought about this myself and still thinkin bout it. Good luck if u decide to do it, it will be HARDCORE!

 

thanks for the replys. i might do a lil bolt ons but definetly want the h22 swap when the car nears completion. oh by the way this will be for a jdm del sol so I really want to do this for all the show freaks and woop up on SVT mustangs

 

We have done this swap for the delsol it is a great swap for the del sol. We also offer the A/C Bracket for the civics/delsols.

 

cool what about a H22 under boost would it fit in the del sol? how bout some track time with H22 sol with boost? thanks
