Just got my Tanabe Super Racing Medalion.. Got a Question..
Okay, it's for my 94 si.. My stock exhaust has a leak in it, so I wanted to get a new one.. I got a good deal on this exhaust, and it was recommended to me by one of my distributors.. So I figured I was getting the Tanabe Racing Medalion which I thought was an oval muffler, with a pretty long tip, that most people end up cutting down a little.. so It is pretty much stock looking as far as the muffler design.. But I ended up getting the Super Racing Medalion.. (says, Series : Super Racing Medalion Spec). This muffler is big.. It is a canister style.. and I was just wondering if anyone has seen this one installed? and does it sit low? Just wanted to make sure before I put it on.. If anyone has a picture of it installed, that would be great.. thanks!!!

I think clearance on the civic is good. Tom's car is a decent height and I don't think he has problems with it.
Also I think it goes over the LCA.....but I could be wrong. Tom can answer your question best (I sold him the exhaust
)
IM him. b18c5-eh

im not sure about civics but I have a Super Racing Medallion on my '01 GS-R. The canister is big but it sits all nestled up right into that little groove/cutout on the bumper. The piping goes over the LCA so no problems there. i have scraped it a few times though, but nothing too big. My friend has a steep *** driveway and one time it took me like 10 minutes to get off of it cause its narrow too..hah, but anyways, put that puppy on and enjoy. again, im not sure how it is with Civics, but i hope this helps a little...peace

Your Super Racing Medallion is still Tanabe, but it's the 100% stainless-steel version of the Racing Medallion and usese a round muffler as you already found out.
i had a tanabe racing mad. a while ago... it went above my control arm didnt hang or anything no scrape or anything....

Cool.. Cool.. Thanks guys.. yeah, I did a lot of searching here, and just got both those exhausts mixed up.. I do like the construction of it, and the main reason I got it was because it's 100% stainless.. I have to cut a lot of bolts it looks like, so I'll probably put it on tomorrow.. I will get some pictures if anyone is interested.. I did find some pictures and saw it on b18c-eh(or something close to that)'s car.. It does look quite big(not what I wanted) but i'm sure I will be fine with it.. I'll let you guys know how it turns out! I also converted all my lights to amber in the interior.. I was sick and really bored, so I went out and took it all apart. It definitly looks good.. the only problem is the climate lights are much more bright, so they light up a 'brighter, lighter' red.. so I need to take them back out and put another coat of paint on those too..
