what's the benefit of disabling or lessening the powersteering?

free up some parasitic HP losses.

It'l give the R some decent road feel. The stock road feel in the car is embarassingly light. It's got NO feel.

I totally can't live without PS, but i'm thinking about underdriving the pump to get a little more resistance. Parking a car w/ no ps just sucks when its 110 outside.

i've been thinking of removing PS, the feel really is VERY light. i almost miss my slower civic steering rack...

I drove an R the other day that had the P/S belt removed...

i dont recommend it...thats for sure...
