Opinions needed: Are Fidanza or Clutchmasters flywheels any good.
For someone on a tight budget that cannot afford the nice stuff (TODA, JUN, Spoon etc) what are your opinions on the Fidanza or Clutchmasters product? Thank you in advance.
Just because a product isn't high-priced or JDM doesn't mean that it isn't "nice". They're very light, resonably priced, and have no starter issues. My brother has had zero complaints or problems with his CM.
FYI - Clutchmasters and Fidanza are made by the same company. I think they're a good product - especially if you get a good deal on one.
i have nothing but positive things to say. Hills are a little trickier, but that could be due to my 6 puck too.
The comptech at 299 is a steal though compared to what it used to be. But I wonder if there is anything that makes the comptech better than fidanza/cm.

I love the fidanza, they are plenty light (8lbs) and the cheapest in price i've seen. $325 from titanmotorsports.com
I like my Fidanza a lot. Comptech is running an Expo specisl for $299 until April12.
compared to my Spoon Chromo...I like my CM a lot more...it actually feels like I've made a change in there vs. my JDM goodness from before....!
I just picked up a ACT 8.8 Lb pro lite for $222 shipped. Here were my choices and reasoning:
ACT-chromoly, lite, and cheap $222
Clutchmasters-aluminum, fear of warping, not too expensive
Spoon- 50% for the people using them have starter teeth issuses $340
TODA-nice, chromoly, pricy $450, no starter teeth issues
Comptech- the aluminum might warp, the chomoly is nice but pricy $400+
JUN- no ****** way, everyone has starter teeth issues.
Fidanza - aluminum might warp, price not bad
Exedy- Don' t know anyone using them, except Subaru guys

At one point, $250 shipped was the everyday price at Import Auto Salvage. I'm not sure if it still is or not.

I have one with around 200 miles on it that I'm selling. Pictures here:
