it all depends on the chip. if you use two identical chips on a p72 and a p28, it will run the same. it will run off of the program on the chip.

The P28 is cheaper because it's originally for an SOHC. It has to be chipped to DOHC spec to work on your motor. In the end, the costs are about the same. P28 =$150, chip program = $150 = $300 while OBDI p72's go anywhere from $200-$300.

who cares? he is chipping it. Knock sensor nor IAB would work anyways. The chip disables it.

I have a chipped p72 and the only real advantage is I can remove the little jumper pin to unchip the ecu and it will run off of the stock ecu program. I only do this when I am running my stock intake manifold.
