Default Wats the difference between ecu's???

i always hear ppl recomending obd1 pr3 and p28 ecus(chipped) over p72's is there a major power output difference??

p28s are just more popular and easier to get ahold of and easier to tune

they're all the same. p288 is just easier to get a hold of. once the ECU is chipped.. the basemaps are different so u can pretty much say a chipped p72 and p28 is identical once chipped

yupp. i chip ECU's all the time. P28 and P72 GSR are all the same once chipped. I can take a DX or a LS ECU and modify them and chip them to be the same as P28 and P72s.

so just get which ever one you can get a better deal on.
