anyone know if you can flare fuel line on 92' DX hb?
well I got my fuel problem sorted out, got correct fuel pressure when all of a sudden the fuel feed line where it curves to go into the fuel filter started spraying everywhere, a pin hole in the line. My question is can I cut it off on the straight section and double flare it to accept a rubber fuel line I can have made? or will I end up having to use a compression fitting which I don't really think will work long term. Or am I gonna have to break down and buy that whole fuel line from the tank to the fuel filter? Anybody else ever have that problem? This sucks..........evertime I get close to finishing my swap, something happens...........oh the swap woes! LOL
kinda funny the same thing happend to me, i double flared it and have been driving since last summer with no problems
awesome............glad to know this. Someone told me that most imports the lines (fuel that is) were lined with plastic and they would break up if you cut it and tried to flare it. Anybody else have this problem?

anyone have any good tips on how to do a double flare? I have a flaring tool (use of one)just never used it. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

BTW: My fuel line has a hole in it where it makes the bend going into the fuel filter (inlet side). What I was hoping to do was cut it on the straight part along the firewall, double flare the end and have a local hose shop make me a rubber high pressure fuel hose to go from there into the filter.
