Stiffer motor mounts
I'm looking for stiffer motor mounts for 4g. The stock ones are pretty worn so the engine is "walking" in the engine bay during accelerations (and gearing isn't so smooth then). What are the disadvantages of such a setup? Which to chose?
thanks

get ES motor mount inserts, you will have a little bit of vibration, but not much, and they work great, only 35 bucks..completely eliminate wheel hop...one of my best mods so far
Thanx. I found them on summit racing for 32$. But they seem to look quite different than stock inserts... And I feel like I'm confused

They say it's a set. Does it cover all mounts in the engine?

They will not completely eliminate wheel hop, but may reduce it. I still have wheel hop and I have them installed.
Check out the install write-up I did at http://members.***.net/4bidden/mount_install

They look different because they just slide in, one on each side, of the stock mount. You will still be using your stock mount, but the inserts keep the stock mount from flexing.

what about mounts for h22 swaps. does hasport or anyone make conversions from single cam to duel cam in a prelude? the only thing i can think of is just using the stock mounts....
