Default Converting 4 lugs to 5 on a EG Civic Hatch!?!

Hi guys,

Has anyone done this on there EG civic? Not only do i want to convert to 5 lugs but use the ITR's front/Rear rotor and calipers. Anyone running this setup?

Need good stopping power when I do my engine conversion (B18CspecR).

Also wondering if it's possible to use the ITR's wishbones (Front/Rear) on an EG civic.

This EG project i'm working on is for circuit racing and as my daily driver. Any info would be helpful! thanks.

hey there, i've done that 5 lug conversion myself. the easiest way to do it is make sure you have all the parts, here they are: both front A arms including calipers and rotors, both rear trailing arms including calipers and rotors, 5 lug ITR rims, ITR spare tire(very important!!), 1 inch master cylinder with brake booster from a 94+ Integra, 4040 honda proportioning valve from either a 90-93 Integra with 4 wheel disc brakes or a 92-95 EG Civic Si hatchback proportioning valve non-ABS, steel braided brake lines for a Type-R, brake line cutter, brake line flaring tool, brake line bender, and brake bleeder. if you want instructions on how to do the swap yourself, it took me about a week to do it right working about 3 to 5 hours a day, just ask and i'll send to the to the right place, go to http://www.b-20.net and look under Non-b-20 items for a photo instruction guide..have fun, hope i have helped!!

what im thinking about is that im going to eventually convert my rear drums to discs.
am i going to be doing the same stuff converting to rear discs that are 4 lug, than converting it to 5 lug?

cuz if i am i would rather have 5 lug

well, it's not cheap, so save up your pennies. the reason is because Type-R's as you know are limited production vehicles here in the US. I got my for a steal about 1 year ago, and they came off a 2000 ITR, i got brand new rims and tires with my 5 lug conversion, brand new trailing and front A arms, the Type-r that was wrecked had less than 1000 miles on it. it cost me 2000 bucks for everything back then, but now i see them for as much as 2500 without rims and tires!! good luck in finding one for cheap now, but you still might...
