Black Smoke

on my d16a6 when its floored, I see a big puff of black smoke from the tail, what the hell did I do to my car? and what is the problem?

im guessing oil rings are gone, does it drink oil ?

A bit, but I think its leaks onto the exuast out on the back side of the motor, right out of the head gasket, I am thinking bad head gasket, the smoke maybe from that?

black smoke = rich, check o2 sensor and plugs, if its only at higher rpms thats somewhat typical of hondas, not supposed to be that way but its not uncommon.

NO! white smoke is oil, black smoke is fuel. you are running rich at wide open throttle. try running a cold-air intake system.
