I ran a steal braided line to the sensor unit, mine is not autometer but Im sure they work the same. do not use a rubber line, to risky if it busts, then you got a real problem on your hands, driving with no oil!

I got a Bspt fitting to Npt fitting and hooked that sucker up where the current one is. I also had a T for that as well. Ive yet to send a signal to it yet because its on my B20 which is going in very soon.

electric or mechanical gauge?

on my electrical...you take out the origional sensor and screw the autometer one in....and run one wire back to the gauge.

follow the instructions...autometer knows how to install their own gauges!

this is the only way i would connect the oil pressure gauge. i've heard too many horror stories of people cracking their block when they hang the sender off the back of the block.

also how do you keep the little peice of tubing inside the brass fittings? Should I just buy a steal braided line to run from the gauge to the sending unit or what not?
