I was a victim of battery!
Or more correctly, batteries.
Got home today and decided to run Chikita up and down the neighborhood street to see if anything would fall off. Had to move the Tahoe, so I jumped in and turned the key. Nada. Not even a click. Well, maybe I left a door ajar and the interior light ran the battery down. Out with the charger and hook it up. While I'm waiting, let's start up Chikita, and let her get warm. Climbed in and turned the key. Click...click...nada. Rats, etc.
Half hour of charge on the Tahoe, turned the key...less than before. Five minutes of battery pulling and off to NTB for a checkup (good thing I have a surplus of cars at the moment). Both batteries are
. Pay the nice man and take some new Diehards home. Five minutes of battery install and everyone fires right up. woot.
Guess it's good it happened today. Would have been rough on Thursday morning trying to pick up the Uhaul trailer and load up with neither vehicle running. I'm tired of adventures, though.

did you check the water/acid levels of the battery?
I've always had fun with batteries. A few years ago we had the battery in our Volvo fail at a trailhead in Yellowstone Park, with no warning at all. If it hadn't been for a couple of cowboys working at the horse packing station there, we'd have had to spend the night(at least) in the car. And finding a new battery for a Volvo wasn't that easy in western Wyoming.

have you seen my posts on gm trucks and batteries? most likely you need to replace the + cable. do it before the alt. goes
btw, you'd be better off with the interstate spec'd for the diesel trucks. mucho cca, mucho reserve
