manifold help!!!

Default manifold help!!!

what manifold is better for me, the y8 Automatic or Y8 manual??????? i tryed searching but the archive search is dissabled at the moment so i cant answer my questiont through searching....... i have a d16a6 engine.... manual trans.... i heard something a while back that the automatic manifold is better because it comes with a sensor part that is located on the throttlebody on the manifold..... so that if i get a throttlebody i wont have to hook anything up to it....... is this true???? i need to find out before i purchase....... i have sellers for both manual tranny and auto, and i need to find out before i make a mistake on buyin the wrong one........ thanks

you need a 5sp intake manifold. The 5sp has the IACV located in the back of the Intake mani like A6's and Z6's while the A/T has it mounted on the T/B which will not work

the auto manifold has the boss for the eacv,it just needs to be drilled and tapped.

more work and money for the IACV just get the 5sp and be done with it

Can't you just change plugs for the IACV, since it is on the throttle body, and be done with it? Or is it too different?

To my understanding its too different..... I know The throttle body uses 3 wires that kinda oval shaped plug while the M/T still uses 2 wires in a round plug
