any experience with an Exedy clutch?
one of my vendors is gonna give me a really good price to try one of the Exedy clutches. it's like a stage 4 or something. 3 puck sprung hub. anyone have any experience with one of these in a honda. i know they are big with supras and dsm's, but i wanna know if they are good with honda.
I dont think that Exedy's are in stages.
I think they have oem, organic or metallic disc option.
Anyways, I have one with an organic disk and it seems to be alright so far...14k mi.

The 3-puck is the cerametallic one. I had one before, the thing bites real good, but stop and go traffic can be a pain in the ***, mainly because the clutch is almost in an on off mode, it's really hard to feather it properly. I swapped it out for an exedy organic after around 4 months. My suggestion is, if you don't have anything over 200 wheel hp and you use the car everyday or almost everyday then don't get the tri puck, go with the organic (round one).

I'm pretty impressed with my exedy organic
. It's been putting up with alot of abuse for the last 7000 miles without a 500 mile brake in
. Just doesn't grab as hard in 3rd gear any more and has a pretty smooth engagement.
