Default EXPO related but not highly important

I'm suprised that no one here has asked how many women that are going to the BEST TYPE-R EVENT this year. Either racing or spectating. If I'm mistaken I saw that there's women driving an ITR to the event. Like I said it's not important but I'm sure you guys have thought about it.

I could care less, actually. I'm looking forward to meeting all the R owners and driving, and of course having a good time. It's going to be hard enough to meet all the drivers, let alone those that are coming to watch/hang out.

A bunch of us all hitting on women doesn't seem like much fun at all, as I'm sure the guy/girl ratio will not favor guys.

I know one lucky young lady who will be getting PLENTY of attention... (by many others - not just me)

Why would we care about the sex of participants?

I never thought there was a need to note the number of male/female participants.

A participant is a participant in my book.

Reid - who finds humor in the concept of such things as "Girlie Girl Racing"...

Racing? Are we talking about the same event?

No, I have not thought about it. I'm going to the expo to meet all you we-todds and crazy ***** and hopefully to learn alot about driving my car, its limits, my limits, and listen to my Azenis sing.

Even if I didn't have a girlfriend, I tend to seperate my dating/relationship life from my driving event/track/car life. I'm focused and driving, learning, getting to know a bunch of people with similar interests, and stuff like that. I hope that is how most people are... Not so say we aren't going to have fun throughout this process.

And furthermore, if someone in particular is going to get alot of attention, why would I also want to give my attention to that person? Seems rather unrewarding, doesn't it???

No offense of course to this one person, or anyone else who may receive an inordinate amount of attention.

No offense, but I doubt anyone else has given any thought to this matter.

A track event is not a place to look for member's of the opposite sex IMHO.

There will be one FL girl ITR owner there (Cassie), not tracking, but spectating and then there's Gina on a scooter so that's two so far.

The females will be plentiful in Charlotte Wednesday/Thursday night.

I like the way you guys are all acting like there's some kind of chance.
What do you mean?

The only reason a female would come to EXPO, is because they know the guy/girl ratio will be in their favor and they'll be treated like a goddess.

Duh. j/k

god, some of you guys are wound pretty tight

being uptight at the track is really bad also, it is rewarding to lose focus for a second, especially with females who are intersted in something else besides the best apex and track out points of turn 3

Corey and I will hopefully round up a few WVU girls to make the trip with us, one probably being his girlfriend

I intend to have a great time at the expo and not talk about/worry about my car and each individual section of the track every second of each day. You all it wound up too tight, I call it having different expectations/priorities.

Still... the statement made above asking if we had thought about the fact that members of the opposite sex will be there pretty obviously infers that we are thinking we might get some or might make some opposite-sex acquaintences, whatever the hell that means.

And to that statement I say, who cares? I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, regardless of what sex they are. I think there are plenty of worthwhile activities planned/not planned that will take priority over me making sure I talk to each woman that shows up there.

So in order to have fun there must be females there?

I don't see how that makes us wound up tight.

Sorry scott, that wasn't intended to be pointed at you. My bad.

Just the general feeling I'm getting from the thread.

Not at all (another incident of 'tone' on the internet being misleading).

Being that I will be driving a car that I do not own, I will focus mainly on learning the track and keeping that car shiny side up.

This is not to say that I'm not going to have fun and socialize with others.

Besides, I'm used to the quality of the girls in Hawaii. Maybe I'll bring some pictures for you guys to oogle.

too bad it is the ITR expo at a place like beaver run. Seems like another expo would be better suited for a place like Beaver run.... nevermind.
