i apologize beforehand for this stupidity....can you use two intercoolers???
ok like i said i'm sorry if this is the most ridiculous quesion...but i was thinking being that side mount intercoolers are readily available and cheap, yet lack the capacity of a larger front mount, if you could just use two of them?
like one behind each foglight in the bumper and then remove those in order to get outside air in to cool them down even more??? sort of like a super sleeper type setup?

you technically can.. but why.. you will loose a lot of flow and you are probably boostin no more than 10psi so a side mount will be alright.
if your boosting more than you have money then you can buy a front mount.

you are probably much better off with one bigger intercooler, if you are using a setup that would exceed the cooling capacity of one side mount. the more piping and bends that are involved will have a direct effect on the efficiency of the turbo system, in a bad way. it seems that the less piping and most direct route is the most practical way. as for the sleeper effect, as soon as you get on it with the car you are racing, it will be clear that you have a turbo. no matter how big your area is, word will get around about your setup, so why worry if people can see your intercooler? get a front mount and paint it black.
well ther we go i sort of figured that flow would be a little bit hindered but was just thinking that the size of two side mount intercoolers put together would be about the same size as a front mount...anyway thanks for the clarification and also for not making me feel like a complete moron....
now one more question..i recently purchased one of those $65 dollar bolt on Superchargers off of ebay that is supposed to increase my hp by almost 35% i was wondering if i should also purchase a FMU and maybe some higher flowing injectors????
