Default Any Shops? Resleeving

Looking to resleeve my block. Does anyone know a reputable place in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. If so please give me an idea if you have had any experience with them also. Thanks.

I'm getting a darton kit. The thing is I don't want to have to mail me block off. Like you said, it takes too long. Anyplace else.

There is no machine shop in dallas that i've seen do a decent sleeve job. There are quite a few however, in dallas, that have messed up blocks trying to sleeve them. Local machine shops are fine for general machine work, but use somebody who specializes in honda sleeving if you want sleeves installed. There are too many little things that the machine shop can only learn from experience. You don't want them practicing on your block....

well im gonna take mine to vsracing in dallas but hes gonna charge me 850 for Darton sleeves and 750 more to put a new oil&water pump in , balance rod&crank. Im prolly just gonna get it sleeved there and have all the rest done here in town for 200. I think thats a little high price for assembly

its not a bad price at all, including the fact that he claims it only takes a week to have your block done!

This is one reason why I love the D! I can get a spare D16 bare block for free or no more than $50. Then have that sleeved while I drive around on my other block.
