I'd start with the interior peices and the sunroof. Fuel cell.

Removal of the front and rear bumper assemblies.

Sound deadening removal.

I've removed all of the rear interior pieces and honestly it's not worth it. The total weight I removed from there is probably less then 15lbs. For that 15lbs I was exposed to a nasty looking rear, louder sound, etc. Not worth IMO. With the rear stripped I also decided to balance out the weight dist more by relocating the battery to the back.

The only way I think to truly lighten a CRX is through replacement (eg. CFH, lexan windows, seats, etc).

Having a car too light poses a danger problem as well when ur hitting around 80mph or so.

Does a fuel cell actually lighten the car? To be put in properly and race legal, I was under the impression it had to be caged to protect it in an accident and cover to protect it from roll over and fire walled from the drivers seat - all those things are weight that in my mental math total more than the stock tank. But I could be wrong.
