Who's bringing digicams and digi-vids to the Expo?

Gina and I will have a computer at the track and need to make sure you guys bring any special drivers or camera cables you need to connect and download your pics and vids to the home machine.

We will be able to support USB 2.0, firewire, and possibly some pass-through A/D for you Beta people.

If you guys let us know soon enough we can preload any special drivers.

I "should" have a digital camera with me to replace the one that got stolen at my ITR/Honda-tech party.

I'll also probably bring a Vaio laptop if anybody needs to upload via memory sticks.

Really depends on whether you can readily connect/download via USB or Firewire.

So far I'm mostly familiar with my Sony DSC-F707 and USB onto my Vaio,
but we just set up the new "ITR Expo" machine up and Gina's finishing up the Expo program on it, and I'm looking into a MiniDV.

The "Expo" machine's got ports and USB's enough, not to mention the wireless set-up as well.

All I'm saying is that you'll need to bring any camera-specific cable and software.

 

what OS is the "expo computer" running? that will help many of us decided if we need to bring any software.

 

will have my sony tvr350 in car....and will bring my firewire.....

DSC-S75 here. You should have the drivers already for USB, or we can use the stick reader.

 

i will be bringing my new sony mavica....no drivers needed...burns to cd's.

Yes, should be fine ... using Sony Mem Sticks.

I'll have a Sony HandyCam, a Nikon Coolpix 775, and EFFECT will be bringing a Sony Mini DV and digi still-cam as well. We may even bring an extra digicorder w/ mount to ***** around in different peoples cars for the video.

 

IF you want i can score a sony digital 8, we can throw it in car

 

I'm leaning towards the Sony DCR-TVR950 and some stuff to go with it.
