how to tell if main relay is toast....
I put a 2k swap in a friends 99 hatch. At the time i had a 97 cx harness converted for the gs-r. Aftter putting it in i realized that the plugs had change, so i figured i could just hard wire some things into the existing plug A under the dash. I wired fuel and a few other things and got the car going- but it kept blowing the VSS fuse and vtec wasnt working.
So i scraped that idea, got a 2k si harness, and use a 2k gs-r ecu with immoblizer removed. I put in the computer tried to start the car wouldnt start for about 15 trys. Fuel pump is coming on, but i know that relay controls spark or injectors or something. Plus it was clicking like crazy
My question is could i have fried the relay when i tried wiring that 97 harness into the hatch?
TIA
