Default LS-T for under 9000...

Including the price of the car, is it possible to build a well running LS-T for under 9 or 10 grand? For you guys who already have LS-T's, was it worth the time and cash?

But if I get a cheap car, that means high miles. Turbo+high milage = bad

ps. CHAUMPEIGNYA!!!

its possible if you find the right car...my friend is selling a 94 ls for around 4k..i cant remember the milage but its around 100-150k..a low milage ls block is pretty cheap (under 1000) and thats only if the other blows...then at about 4k for turbo kit and asseccories and you are right around 9k

high milage and turbo doesnt have to be bad..just do a compression check before you buy the car, if that checks out in good and theres no other signs of bad matinence or internal/seals problems you should be fine

92 civic cx $1750
Complete LS Swap $1500
Sell LS Tranny $350
Buy B16/GSR tranny $450
Pistons/Rods/Blockguard/Bearings/Waterpump/Headgasket/ETC/ETC $1500
MaxRev Turbo kit w/ Hondata option $2800

$8350

You still need a bunch of ****, but that's for you to figure out, remember the fuel system, some suspension, wheels, tires, misc stuff for the engine build, like 3" Exhaust, clutch, etc.. You can do it with 9000 no problem but better to get a hatch, swap the LS with b16 or GSR tranny and then slowly save up the money to turbo the bitch..

If the hatch is a cx, you have some slicks, you can run anywhere from high 12's to low 11's depending on your power output and suspension.... good luck.
