You sure you spelled that town name correctly, D? That name doesn't exist in the yahoo maps database....

Oaks PA is a nearish suburb of Philadelphia. A bit north and west of the city....

If you get the "real" name of the town you'll be in, I can get you directions to the carting place....

EDIT: Found Shrewsbury, PA...is that the place? If yes, you'll still be about 110 miles from the carting place. Oh well.

lsinteg I'm in Burlington and it takes me about an hour. I think... Depends on who I am following.. if it's Matt I'm following them make it more like half an hour... the beauty of a radar detector.

Yah the place is a bit spendy. But if I remember correctly they offer a few $$ discount if there are a certain number of us running in a group. You live in Newtown? Come on by...even if you only race with us all once. You'll get to put faces with all the names you see here on the board everyday.

i just went gokarting this past weekend for a bachelor party! i sent many a kart to their tire toppling demise in the turn after the fast straight. i'd love to come but i will be at another bachelor party this saturday; this time it's paintball!
we should all plan a birthday party for chickenbitch. his birthday is july 7 (me thinks); he turns 12 - he's big for his age!

 

He's turning 12, ey? Before you know it, the little chicken boy will be all grown up. Mebbe someone should buy him a shaver for his birthday.....cause he's almost to that age where he'll need one.... huhuhu

I can't make it this weekend guys. I will be down in Philly area on Sat., but I'm heading back up Norte for a party on Sat. night. Maybe next time. That 2 hour drive each way doesn't make it any more appealing either!

As for how much $$ to bring...

I usually just bring my ATM card. But races are $10 or $12 depending on how many people show. We have raced up to 9 times in one day....but usually only run 3-5 times. But you can run as many times as you like. Even if you only run once with us, it would be worth it just to see a bunch of R's in the lot....which is very safe, by the way.
