i missed the first race, saw the last 2 mins. where was cunningham

 

DC5 finished 2nd, passed that dude on the last lap, but couldn't pass the Beamer y0. DC2 finished like 15th or so

 

cunningham started on the last row and never caught up

 

George is right. Their efforts are now going to the DC5R because they know this platform is better in every category against the DC2R. When i was at the race a few weeks ago the guys were saying it isn't near it's capability since the car is so new. They are still trying out different things and what not. I can't wait to see it in the coming races on Speedvision

 

Where was Cunningham and the NSX in the GT race??

 

PD isn't running the NSX this year, just the ITR/RSX. Last I heard they are re-tooling the NSX for maybe next year.

 

what's amazing to me is the progress all the manufacturers made over the winter. the DC2R PD was driving is the championship winning car from last season driven by the championship winning driver and it was no match for the front runners.

this shows how competative the SWC really is.

Stuck really impressed me coming from the back all the way to 4th place correct? That was an awesome performance.

The reason RTR isn't running the Acura NSX this year is because of lack of funding (from what i was told by one of their crew members). Hopefully it might be back next year though

 

The guys at Real time told me that the technology that they allow the other teams this year isn't making it easier for the ITR's........the ITR has been successful for a long time! But it might be coming to an end, unless rules and weight change in World Challenge.

 

I noticed something that disturbed me a good bit. Did anyone see how much more powerful the Mazda's are? One camera was from the inside of one of the front running BMW's that was right on the butt of a Mazda coming out of a corner. As soon as they hit the strait however the Mazda was freaking GONE! It pulled at least 6 cars on the main strait. I'm not talking about a slow steady pull. It plain and simple just took off and left the BMW. What's even sad is I remember the DC2's getting pulled by the BMW's in the straits a few years ago. Something definitely needs to be addressed in terms on engine mods. At least allow the DC2's to have a mild set of cams or something. I gotta admit though the RSX was looking pretty darn good.

 

I was just amazed with how well the DC5 was on the track. Had alot more pull. No more of the BMW just pulling the H car!

Madza was fast! Brock when i saw that i was going nuts. to Mazda they have put together a good thing!

Too bad that PD wont be running the NSX this year. Hopefully next year if Cunningham is still in the drivers seat the NSX will come into play in the GT class

EDIT: What is everyones thoughts on the EP3? Thing sounds amazing and looked like it wasnt too bad.

Yeah the officials really need to look into that. The Mazda's were pulling away almost as hard as I did on you guys at the ATL meet . Sorry I couldn't resist.

Yea theres a meet there in Nashville going down in May. Been some talk about it. Youll find this in the meets and events section.

Hibbs is supossed to be planning it up but busy days own him i think so im gonna try to help out just a little bit on the planning and try to get lists together of people who are comming. ATL meet was fun. Wish there were more ITR people(as i know ATL has a ton) but hopefully there will be more at this meet.

Also Brock...That R has *****...but we are comming deep. So be on your best!
