Is this supposed to happen?
I have my Si tranny on my ZC in the car but not completely hooked up yet. When I turn the crank pully the wheel hubs move which is a good thing. I got my dad to lift up on the clutch lever thing while I turned the crank pully again and the wheel hub still moved.
When my dad lifted up on the clutch lever thing, wouldnt that be just as me pressing on the clutch pedal while driving? When you press on the clutch while driving you dont get any power to the wheels.. but when my dad lifted the clutch lever I was still powering the wheels. This is really bothering me, Its making me think I didnt install my clutch right and I'll have to drop the tranny and mess with it. This is the reason why I didnt touch the release bearing in the first place.

when u lift clutch pedal, u only take the pressure off the clutch... like brakes.... the brakes never loose contact with rotors... they just let pressure go... they always make contact....
as for the clutch the material its very contact and grip friendly. even that lil grip makes it move... have someone else hold the hub.. ull see that soesnt take a lot of force to make ti stop....

r u sure ur dad is strong enough to push the lever up all the way? the cable should be hooked up and he should use his foot on the pedal not the lever

it's like when you have the car on jackstands and start the engine. even with the car in nuetral, it'll spin the wheels slowly.
i don't know if this has any revelance, but it's the first thing i thought of. if i think too hard about it, i'll confuse myself
