haha.. Bangkok. I was there a couple months ago. Go to Patpong road. Ask around for the 'frog' show. Don't pay more than 150 bot for something. haha. By the way 50 bot is like 1 dollar US.. so like 3 bucks.
Oh, about the car parts. Massive selection of parts! Downtown Bangkok has some major big stores with showrooms aside from the back alley 'rota' shops that are everywhere so don't bother with those even though they're on every street. Hit up the big shops. Just ask any 'taxi' driver and he'll gladly take you to ALL the shops for about $5, they're really friendly there. Its very profitable to go there so you can actually come back a very rich guy.

my family also is from Thailand, I have been to a few speed shops in Thailand. They are okay though. I really didnt get a good impression of them cuz they dont seem to know anything about Hondas.
They do have a lot of interesting stuff for sale down there for our cars. Just make sure you dont overpay for something.
I recall a family friend who had a 98 Nissan S14 Silvia that was fully modded with Greddy stuff, front mount, turbo upgrade, intercooler piping, full greddy electronics, Enkei RP01 wheels, Recaro SRD seats, Greddy harnesses etc.
We went clubbing at this nightclub, friend left his headlights on and then by the time we left the club the battery was dead
After we got a taxi to give us a jump start we went drifting around the streets of bangkok in the rain. I'll never forget that experience
