Default ls/vtec leaks need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im havin a problem with my head leaking. it seems to be coming from where i put the plug into the head. i did everything the right way....is there anyone else that has had this problem???? or is the a special way of putting the plug in (i.e. with teflon tape or jb weld or whatever.)

you should ALWAYS use teflon paste or tape

I called up a couple of places to see how they did theirs and this is what they told me : (1) Inlinefour told me to just tap it and screw the plug in, they said they do many this way and they have no problems....hhmmmmm...makes me wonder. (2) I also called Autolink Motorworks and spoke to Kitty (who seems to know her stuff about swaps and **** like that) told me the same thing.....just to tap it and screw the plug in.....hhhmmmmm....and no problems.

im sure it would be fine that way, but whats 89 cents in teflon tape for your extra piece of mind?

Are you sure its coming from you oil passage plug and not you cam seal or vtec seal? Mine came from that area and i though it was the plug but it was my cam seal dripping down...check it out
